General Electric’s new FlexEfficiency power plants are designed to work well with renewable power sources.

Renewable renewable energy generation can be intermittent as it is dependent on wind or sun and can require augmentation quickly.  The FlexEfficiency makes use of technology that let’s it run at rates as low as 87% and still be 61 % efficient.  G.E. FlexEfficiency
